Trump after meeting with Putin at the conference: It’s up to Zelensky to decide, Russia wants peace
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin have wrapped up their meeting in Alaska after three hours of closed-door talks.
The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, said in his press conference that:
“It was a productive meeting, we agreed on most points including the big issues, for some others we opened the way for solutions. Now I will call the NATO countries, President Zelensky, to inform him as it is up to him to decide and have the final word. I thank the US Secretary of State, the honorable Witkoff.
We had many Russian representatives and they expressed their desire to cooperate with the US.
In this respect, we made progress, as I have always had a special relationship with Putin. We were used to hearing the slander of Russian intervention that produced nothing, but now as two countries we can cooperate in the field of business.
“I’m going to start making some calls, the most important issue was not reached today but it is on its way to being reached,” Trump said after meeting with the Russian leader.
